Jay-Z has partnered with the Emmy-award winning Inside the NBA show and TNT to star in a series of exclusive commercials promoting the 2006-2007 NBA season on TNT. The eight :30 second spots feature Jay-Z riding through the streets of Manhattan in a chauffer-driven car as he reveals his views on talent, legacy, competition and stardom, prior to the Nov. 21 release of his highly anticipated comeback album, Kingdom Come. The first promo is titled “The Truth About Stardom,” featuring Jay-Z's take on living life in the spotlight. The spots start running on Thursday (Oct. 5) with more being rolled out in the following weeks. An extended director’s cut of the interview will also be made available exclusively on TNT OverTime on NBA.com. “The new approach to our NBA on TNT promo series featuring Jay Z is dramatic, smart and provocative,” said Craig Barry, Turner Sports VP/Creative Director. “Using Jay-Z’s own words and powerhouse persona, we wanted to showcase his sophisticated style to parallel the tenets of sports and music.”

BET. Honestly, I'm really getting tired of "Top 25 Sexiest Celebs" countdowns that EVERY network seems to do and don't get me started on the "Beef" specials and series! But I must admit I like the idea of a Money, Power, & Respect...a countdown of the 25 most influential African Americans based on their Money, Power, and Respect...It's very insightful because we're probably not familiar with most of these people. [List Below.] While watching, I was thinking to myself "they have some nice commentators" until I saw Miss Jones...I do have a feeling they are going be counting down the "Top 25 Internet Sites" next. haha

...I had a feeling that's what Beyonce was trying to avoid, not that she was drunk...She looked perfectly fine leaving the place heading to get into the car. That many people swarming the car and all those camera flashes AT NIGHT can be blinding, especially for the driver...dangerous ish!

A glammed up Beyoncé, along with her man Jay-Z, desperately fought through a sea of flashbulbs on their way out of a popular London hotspot yesterday. Even after they pushed their way into an awaiting Rolls Royce Phantom, the shutterbugs just wouldn't give up. In a scene that resembled the running of the bulls, the snapparazi bolted down an alley after the ultra-expensive ride, shooting photos and hollering all the way.
Before the media blitz took place, the hot couple were enjoying the Jigga Man's post-concert bash at the swanky Movida nightclub. The two love birds weren't the only famous faces in attendance, Chris Martin and wife Gwyneth Paltrow were seen dusting a little dirt off their shoulders as well.

For me besides Beyonce's performance, the guys on the treadmills (I thought that was kind of cool), Chamillionaire and Hype Williams winning, everything just seemed so heartfelt about that...I thought the show was boring, that's how I went into it though.
