I was totally impressed. You can see, even in a short conversation, why Jay-Z is so comfortable in so many environments: boardrooms, mean streets, studios and posh resorts. The man carries himself with such ease and confidence, appears thoughtful in answering questions and connects without any sense of being on autopilot or giving previously contrived answers.

What was your favorite Jay moment of 2007?

Mines are:

The release of "American Gangster", (one of the best, if not the best album of 2007) his 10th #1 album, that put him at the top of list with Elvis and The Beatles. Who else is doing that shit? *thinking...thinking...still thinking* Got Nothing. LOL

Suprise appearance on 106 & Park with Kanye: The crowd went CRAZY. It was pretty much a wrap for 50 Cent that day.

The Classic Albums: Reasonable Doubt special was a treat.

Charlie Rose Interview: It was a really good conversation. Charlie Rose really did his research (I'm sure he always does), and I know somebody was watching thinking "that Jay-Z guy speaks very well". haha

VH1 Storytellers: Life of An American Gangster

Interview with Angie Martinez (August 3). Classic Jay-Z and Angie Interview.

Stepping down from President. Making moves. Do that tour and I don't know want to hear nooooooooobody crying about it.

Honorable Mention: Screamfest Show [NYC], "Upgrade U" (the premiere of the video, behind the scenes, and the Tour performance), Jay-Z Blue, selling out shows in seconds and whatever happens in Vegas this weekend lol.
